  • Red cards – Anger including rage, frustration, irritation, disgust, . . .
Blue cards – Sadness including disappointment, loss, . . .
    Black cards – Fear
    Orange cards – Guilt
    Greed cards -Embarrassment
Yellow cards – Happiness, including joy, warmth, love, . . .
    Light Brown cards – Confusion
White cards – Any feeling not listed

Build your hand of cards to represent how you feel about some particular thing, such as, what it was like growing up in your family as a child and adolescent. You can also do what your week has been like, how you feel today, (———, you name it). The player represents the intensity and frequency of feelings by the number of cards picked. So you might have six fear cards, eight happiness cards, four embarrassment cards, and two brown cards for confusion. Players take turns describing their hand of cards. Any of the listeners acknowledge and accept the feelings. Feelings are not judged or rejected. Form a hand and share it in the comments section.

  • That sounds like too much of an emotional rollercoaster for me.

  • Sounds very interesting. It would be interesting thing to do when meeting people

  • Well, this is interesting.  If I think about comparing myself in Feb. or March to today–it would be a lot different.  Now is mostly happiness mixed with a little sadness(thinking about my mom who dies 3 yrs. ago).  During the winter it would have been mostly red (frustration) and blue.  Besides the nice weather and sunshine, new medications have helped tremendously.

By the way, was one of your large piles light brown–confusion??  You mixed up some of the explanations of colors.  Showed orange for embarrassment, and didn’t show green–the real embarrassment at all.  Guess you just didn’t want any “guilt”??  lol.

  • TMI…too much information in this game. :)
