Visit to Atlanta
Visited the National Historic Site in Atlanta, photo of MLK’s boyhood home.

We also spent some time at this center.

If you ever get a chance to visit these sites please do so. The Martin Luther King National Park is free and the Carter Center has a reduced admission for seniors.

I expect that was a VERY interesting visit to Atlanta! Both are important venues!
look like a nice place to visit
I love GA! and Atlanta! Thanks for sharing your pics and the links! When I was there I enjoyed all the MLK places, Centennial Olympic Park, Stone Mountain, etc!!! I loved their peaches and their peanuts!!! And I went on a tour of the CNN building to find (and HUG) Anderson Cooper…but he wasn’t there. He was away on assignment. At least that’s what the tour guide said. Maybe Anderson was just hiding from me.???HUGS!!!
Those are two places in Atlanta I haven’t been. I’ll see if I can arrange a jaunt the next time I’m in Atlanta to visit my sister!
Why would he hide?? Oh, that’s right YOU were going to hug him….Ha, funny. @adamswomanback -
So you’re a Georgia resident? You seem to do a lot of traveling so I don’t know where you live most of the time…We have a Martin Luther King Jr. Way near our school but it’s quite not the same thing, innit
@vexations - Ha! Glad you got a HA outa’ my comment!
Actually, I live in Tennessee, Knoxville not far from Atlanta. @christykim -
Atlanta is a beautiful place, but all the roads are named Peachtree something…so directions can be confusing at times
. . besides it is mammoth!@mlbncsga -
Dear Bill,I don’t know if you’ll get this. I’m adding the contact info and/or new blogsites for most of the people I know, and noticed I didn’t have yours. I can be found on Facebook, as, natch, Michael F. Nyiri. Also have set up an interim website, since I can’t edit mine:http://michaelfnyiri.wix.com/allthingsmikeDon’t have a new blog yet. You’ve offered lot of wonderful photography, poetry, and uplifting insights into the nature of humanity, history, and general beingness over the years. Thank you.Michael F. Nyiri, poet, philosopher, fool
Both look like such wonderful places to visit! Thank you for the lovely photos.
