Just Not Into Posting on Xanga of Late. . .
I’m pretty sure this is a Carolina Chickadee
http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Carolina_Chickadee/id
I’ve posted pics of them before as they are a friendly bird and abundant in our backyard during summer. They are often confused with the Black Capped Chickadee and honestly I can’t tell the difference. I suspect we have both as both species reside in this geographic area.

“Just not that into you”…. Isn’t that a movie or something?? lol poor Xanga!
terrific photo.
I’ve slowed down my posting as well. Only when something significant has happened, is when I post a series of that event. Other than that, I’m slowly disappearing.
Are you staying on Xanga or migrating elsewhere like some of us “birds.” I love Chickadee dee dees.
beautiful picture! I’ve had bouts of just not being motivated to post as well……..
We all have been slowing down here…and I’m curious, when ou say “on xanga” means I could read you somewhere else?
it’d be awesome to keep in touch with you.
I believe you are right . . .@Tempguestbrief -
thanks…..@promisesunshine -
I think you summed up my behavior as well . . .@armnatmom -
I haven’t made up my mind about that. I do post poems on Got Poetry’s site. @Ikwa -
I will no doubt do that and post something here soon. Would love to stay connected. @meddwl -
Lovely. I do hope xanga lives and you are still here!
Love those little chickadees. We have a hiking trail here where they will come and eat out of our hand. So darn cute!
Well, thanks…@murisopsis -
I’ve never had that happen, but they are very people friendly. @dingdongdingbat -
it’s cute-well, I guess I’m making up for you not blogging since I’m writing a blog and posted a photo everyday and sometimes twice a day.
You’re going with us to Xanga 2.0 ,right?
Chickadees are cute!
Great photo!

I think we are all feeling a bit of what you are feeling. It’s okay. We understand.
Thank you for your posts! Your photos, poems, words, links…are always great! You have added such joy, beauty, and fun to my life!

What is Xanga 2.0? @Texasjillcarmel -
Helo lo My Friend,
You are the kindest and loving human being, for you shower us with nature, and I am unable to enjoy very much of it since they will not repair my knees after blood clots to my lungs happened twice. I long to walk the gorge trail at Sharon Woods here in Cincinnati or to wander through the rose gardens when I am in San Francisco, but medicated–the pain is too great, so Xanga meant a lot to me as have several people I have met on here. I did give them one gift, and I am encouraging others to do the same with the proviso that, “We,” get to vote in a people’s board and follow the money. I would like to see it solvent, because, I think it is one of the better networks for disabled people and for people of our ages to make friends, and when I learn, considering my two worlds; I would like to share great pictures as well.
I do not see this as a ship that has to sink if we all make the donation of 50.00, or for some of the younger people can help by coughing up five dollars if that is what they can afford. I would honest to God like to see us take over this company, for I believe we can add an entirely different spin on who comes here — Mature individuals from 15 to 100 who want to have a place which is like a small writer and artist, health and wellness village. I wish they would let me in right now, let me bring my husband, and I believe you and many others can help save one simple pleasure we have all shared for many years. God Bless you. “Pinkhoneysuckle,” my book has been filmed by Kathryn Raaker for B4 64 which is an international show. It is on You Tube right now, and will be a Time Warner production. “Pinkhoneysuckle” has been featured on tristate radio twice here in the Ohio valley, and I am not just with Amazon anymore, for I signed a contract with Joseph Beth Bookstore here in Cincinnati and had a book signing which filled my heart with incredible love and mercy. I have also agreed that I will mail it to people by request in the P.R. of China. A young man in Wuhan an interpretor and an employ for a world pharmaceutical company in Wuhan read it, and has friends wanting to purchase the book.
This book has carried me through times of my life when I was on my last breath, but you can catch it on You Tube. I hate the picture of the grandmother I am, for the inability to walk has left me with far too much weight; But please check it out: Barbara Everett Heintz with Kathryn Raaker, B4 64 on You Tube, and it will go to evening television in a Time Warner Slation. My radio show is there with her as well, and let me tell you that she found me, and she even took my book to New York last week.
My body may have forsaken me, but God has kept me hanging on, so I am overwhelmed by such blessings.
Thinking of you, My friend, Barbara
