Love oak leaf hydrangea. We have ours planted along the front porch with day lilies. It is so beautiful in July.

You are here - and so is your backyard, so I gather you weathered the storm. Yay.

They are beautiful flowers and plants. Even the dried out flower is lovely at the end of the season. This is one of my favorite woodland plants as well as garden plant.

How you bless us with even the beauty of the dying flowers. All year long, you take the beautiful pictures, and they are a lift to any day. I l want to learn to send pictures when I get back to the other dwelling. I am filled with grief tonight for all that is lost on the east coast, and someday people are going to realize why they were called, "Barrier Islands." I know that it only happens ,, but the loss of life is not worth it. As we sit here over the San Andreas and the Hayward faults, I know that we are sitting ducks, and I have not fixed the earthquake kit in ages, but next week -- I shall. All people need supplies for emergencies, and I know that some people keep no extra food, or fresh water. Bless you, and dare I ask; Did you read the book
