The burning bushes along the roadside in central Illinois were radiant as I passed them on the way to my daughter's last week. This week the ones in front of my house turned gloriously bright red. I wanted to take a picture, but it was so cloudy and windy I though I would wait. When the first day of sun came, the leaves had mostly been blown away. I have the picture burned into my memory but not to put on my blog. Thanks for posting one of yours.
Just thought you'd like to know I was thinking about you this morning when I saw one of the clues in NYTimes Crossword was "vexation." Today's puzzle is very annoying!

those are pretty-we have a bush here but it's not this one but when people up north see it they call it the burning bush. If I remember the name I will tell you later.
