White Azalea, Endless Summer

My white double bloom azalea has few blossoms unlike the three pinks in the backyard.

This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago. They are in full bloom now.

Lovely. I can almost smell them. I had an azaela bush right under my window when I was a little girl.
it's raining in the picture. how cool is that? our neighbor across the street has red azaleas, but only in the spring. i think i saw some blooms at school. we have a little protected courtyard. otherwise, i don't think they could bloom this time of year here.
Only rosy cheeks in bloom here - although it will be 70 at some point this week (would prefer it was Halloween), How lovely these are.
xxxooo
Love the flowers. Sad part about winter--not to many flowers to smell--but if your lucky you can sure find some pretty wild flowers
Lovely! We used to have azaleas, but then we had a blizzard at Easter and it wiped them out.
Such beautiful flowers! There are some in the neighborhood but I haven't seen flowers on them lately. It's getting late in the year for blooms. A few of my little flowers are hurrying to get done before it gets cold!
Simply beautiful!
Glad to help bring back some nice memories. @Crystalinne -
yes, and a frost will be on us soon I am sure. @whyzat -
Oh my, you should try them again they are pretty hardy but it all depends on the climate. We didn't have them in SD either during my childhood. @lanney -
Yes, flowers are missed during the winter. @Maggietx1 -
Again, it must be that twice bloom variety. The regular azalea do not bloom except in the spring and then not for long. @promisesunshine -
Well, rosy cheeks are one advantage of cooler weather.
Thanks. @RestlessButterfly -
Very lovely.
@vexations - are you fond of rosy cheeks?
awwww. do they sing? :P
The blooming flowers of the Southeast are beautiful, BUT... will they still recognize next Spring. Guess we will have to wait and see...(God Willing)
Gorgeous flowers!
