lovely - and sad. My garden is put to bed, now, and I am waiting for the snow.
xxxooo
you had time to find flowers with all the games yesterday?
just teasing you -I was frolicking through the weeds ,too
The frost has claimed all my mother's cone flowers. Love the haiku!
Coneflower?
Lovely poem -- the flower looks a little as if it's breathing its last gasp before winter!
yes, the last one standing. @slmret -
Games,,,,what games, oh, you mean those games. yes @jillcarmel -
yes @Want2FitIn2Fat2Fit -
thanks @murisopsis -
You know when it is moist when there is fog on your car windows. You know when autumn is almost over when the last flower disappears. You know when things are not that good on xanga when a short blog gets top billing.
I don't know if those saying are common sense. It just seems real to certain folks like me.
I enjoy the captions you add with your photos--makes me go back and look again !
I didn't notice that this little post was on front page. In fact I seldom check out front page. I imagine it gets there because I post a response and the Xanga computer counting hits includes my comments. Doesn't seem right somehow to me. Nonetheless, glad you stopped by and glad to obtain your comment. @PPhilip -
@vexations - Besides the top blogs I also read the new recent blogs and try to help encourage the new xanga writers.
Sometimes there is less than a hundred top blogs. That means that there are not many posts that have more than three comments (the minimum to be on the top blog list.)
I used to have a garden *sigh* squash, tomatoes, onions, strawberries, and my tiger lilies and roses. Oh how I miss my garden.
@vexations -yes, all men know -college games.
This is a really pretty flower.
one's weed, another's flower :D
@vexations - LOL I hinter enter THEN I saw the title. My Dad LOVES cone flowers. He buys a couple packets of 200+ seeds every year and seeds them all over the yard and garden. It's SPECTACULAR when they all bloom in all different colors.
