In Califonia we have many smokey summer/fall fires.  Such a strange feelings they envoke. Reminds us of the sensitive line that is crossed in nature. In our home we've coind the phrase, "Nature bats last." It helps us keep it in perspective.  Hope you are all safe.

nice     i have not been up top or out on the rim of the bowl but hoping to go this weekend  we should be peaking but the mountains i see from here are dull looking browns & yellows   it's a different story a bit higher   thanks for sharing   blessings beck

What part of CT? I'm up in Tolland County... where, yeah, the colours peaked a couple of weeks ago. Our trees out front are nearly bald already!
